R&D Investments

The most recent investment, started in 2011 and completed in 2012, consisted in the creation of a specific R&D department for defense and security systems. Thus, the company became more efficient in the integration of complex solutions for NATO and national security programs.

In 2007, UTI acquired, through public tender, the Institute of Production System Research and Design, a subsidiary of Romarm at that time, and invested in its upgrade and modernization transforming it into a modern Research and Development Center, that generates cutting-edge solutions for the UTI business lines.

Our facilities include modern software tools, manufacturing equipment, 3D printing capabilities, laboratories, modern testing and measuring equipment and tools, mechanical and electronic workshops, security certified areas to address classified National, EU and NATO projects.
