certSIGN has started to issue cards for the digital tachograph

Since August 1, 2007, certSIGN, a UTI company, has been issuing and providing to the Romanian Road Authority customized tachograph cards for drivers, transport companies, service units and control organisms.

By this project, Romania meets the commitment to the European Union to provide the drivers residing in Romania with tachograph cards since August 1, 2007.

This is a remarkable performance as the project has been implemented in 4 months, while for the other European countries the period of project implementation lasted at least 6 months

certSIGN also manages the same project in Bulgaria, where it provides software and implementation services of the final solution, so that the road authorities in Bulgaria could issue digital tachograph cards in August, as well.

On its 33rd anniversary of continuous activity, UTI changes its name and becomes TIU Group of companies.

On October 5, 2023, the TIU Group celebrates 33 years of continuous activity in the Romanian and South-Eastern European markets, estimating a record consolidated turnover.
