UTI will implement the video monitoring system for the Romanian borders

UTI Servicii și Mentenanță was awarded, through an open public tender, the contract for the implementation of equipment that will ensure the video surveillance of vehicles that enter or leave our country. The project’s value is 9,8 million lei.

The National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration awarded the contract to the UTI affiliated company on the lowest price criterion. The subcontractors for the system implementation are UTI Grup S.A. and Girod Semnalizare Rutieră S.R.L.

The purpose of this system, that will be operated by CNAIR, is to complete the existing infrastructure, consisting of 74 vignette locations, with 34 new ones.

The UTI companies will carry out the design, supply and equipment installation, as well as the hardware and software configuration and the system’s commissioning. Our specialists will train the beneficiary’s personnel that will operate the equipment and will provide maintenance services.

On its 33rd anniversary of continuous activity, UTI changes its name and becomes TIU Group of companies.
