Traffic incident detection system

Highway incidents can have serious consequences: injured people, traffic congestion, increased pollution. Our solution provides the automatic detection of all incidents on the road in a pre-determined area, by using inductive loops, on the ground detectors and video cameras technology.

The system generates alarms when such incidents occur:

• Unexpectedly stopped vehicle on the road or in tunnels/Incorrect parking
• Driving against the current of traffic
• Pedestrian on the road
• Lost load
• Smoke/fire/fog
• Reduced speed

When an incident has  been detected, the system usually alarms an operator that makes the appropriate decision to improve traffic conditions.
