UTI’s latest version of the GPS system VTS-02 at Expo Security 2003

Between 7and 11 May Romexpo organises the 6th specialised exhibition for security systems, Expo Security 2003. KTrack invites you in Hall 18, Booth 19 for a presentation of the latest improved version of VTS-02, the vehicle tracking and monitoring system. The continuous endeavours of the research, development and production teams of UTI Group together with the investments and infrastructure supplied by the Group resulted in a hi-tech Romanian product, highly qualitative, flexible and easy to install and use.

The monitoring solution via satellite is worldwide acknowledged as the most accurate method for vehicle theft risk lowering. The VTS-02 turns the classical passive antitheft protection of vehicles into an active system able to communicate the emergence of a theft attempt, both to the owner and to the specialised staff in the monitoring centre.

The system allows route monitoring for a stolen vehicle within a minimal error margin of at most 10 metres and, upon such event, direct intervention on the vehicle by remotely commanding the engine of the stolen vehicle to turn off.

Vehicle fleet management is one of the most relevant applications of the VTS-02 monitoring system, being compatible with special intervention fleets (ambulance, fire fighters, police) as well as with commercial vehicles and industrial machines. As for the latter, the implementation of modern fleet management solutions ensues significant lowering of operating costs, which shows in a company competitiveness increase. Therefore, KTrack has developed a passive monitoring system for vehicles, which rules out communication costs. The route, as defined by the vehicle position, is recorded at preset time intervals (at least 5 seconds) and shown in detailed reports configured to fit the client’s needs.

The VTS-02 system as well as the KTrack equipment make the object of the partnerships between UTI Group and other famous companies such as PORSCHE ROMANIA and SECURIT FORCE, member of Tiriac GRUP, which are part of a nationwide distribution plan, put into practice together with UTI GROUP branches.
