UTI Retail Solutions signed two more important contracts

The first contract was signed with Carrefour Colentina, for the installment of the antitheft and video surveillance systems and of the safes. It is the third Carrefour supermarket UTI Retail Solutions has fit so far. The second contract was signed with Selgros Constantza, which chose digitally transformed records. Compared to the analogue record, the digital one has certain advantages:

• It facilitates quick search of records according to the date, the hour and the movement detecting filter.
• It allows Internet access. Practically, by installing the customer soft, virtual monitoring and archiving points can be created anywhere in the customer’s network.
• It removes the need to purchase and to administrate videotapes, as well as the regular capital repairs of the analogue VCRs.
• It can be integrated with computerized selling points (POS) by associating the video camera image to the cash voucher, thus allowing to identify frauds at the selling point.
