UTI supports the RPAS industry development in Romania and the Eastern Europe

On September 22-23, 2016 UTI attended the DronEast.Eu Event (Air show, Exhibition and Conference) – www.droneast.eu, as co-organizer and Sponsor.

The initiative for organizing this event belonged to three associations: UVS Romania, Patromil and ARPIC, that were supported by the Civil Aeronautical Authority in Romania and ROMATSA. They decided to promote the RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) industry and bring together civil aviation specialists and private companies that activate in this field.

DronEast.Eu is a virtual platform that was created to facilitate the RPAS sector development by proposing topics for debates and by promoting this very promising industry that needs a rapid legal framework and procedures for the safe and secure use of these systems.

On its 33rd anniversary of continuous activity, UTI changes its name and becomes TIU Group of companies.

On October 5, 2023, the TIU Group celebrates 33 years of continuous activity in the Romanian and South-Eastern European markets, estimating a record consolidated turnover.
