UTI Systems – the first Romanian company to take part in the EEMA conference and exhibition

The annual EEMA conference will take place midmonth in Prague, with the main panel Interoperability of the web services – the role of the transition architectures in infrastructure connection to government public keys and in web service securing.

UTI Systems is the first Romanian company that takes part both in the EEMA conference and exhibition as a technical sponsor. During the conference, the official results of the European project PKI Challenge will be made public. The project has tested the interoperability of the PKI solutions provided by famous manufacturers for more than a year.

UTI took part in this project with the products certSafe and shellSafe that successfully passed all the tests and ranged among the ten finalists. The products presented during this event are: certSafe – Certification Authority, shellSafe – desktop securing solution that allows file electronic encryption, signing and secure transmission via e-mail, gateSafe – solution dedicated to application integration into a public key infrastructure providing single-on authentication, cryptographic acceleration, access counting depending on application, service utility or type.

At present, there is a foreign high demand for these information security solutions extensively used in Romania in the government and banking environment..
