UTI Systems occupied the 5th place in Top 30, Software and services companies, 2004

According to the classification performed by ITC – Institute for Computers, and published by e-Finance magazine regarding The software and services industry, 2004, “The great entry in 2004 top is UTI Systems that occupied the 5th place, with a total turnover of 29 mil. USD, almost the same as the company situated on the 4th place. The company entered this sector, coming from CAEN 7420 class (ingineering and technical consulting). This shift is justified by the weight of the IT activities within the production of the company and by the continuous development of the software department. UTI recorded in 2004 a remarkable income growth by over 100%.”.

The article uses the results of the analysis of the Romanian Information Technology industry evolution that ITC performes based on the information taken from the financial balances submitted by over 10,000 companies registered under CAEN 30 and CAEN 72 codes.

On its 33rd anniversary of continuous activity, UTI changes its name and becomes TIU Group of companies.
