Launching of the partnership UTI Systems-SecurIT Force
On Wednesday, July 2, 2003, 11 AM, at Crown Plaza, Walachia Hall, SecurIT Force launched a new service. The guarding and protection company, member of Tiriac Holdings Ltd., placed a new product on the asset security market: the vehicle tracking and monitoring system based on GPS technology. The system incorporates equipment belonging to KTrack brand, a UTI Systems trademark.
The GPS tracking and monitoring system is acknowledged worldwide as the best risk lowering solution for vehicles. Fleet management is one of the most relevant applications of the monitoring system, being compatible with special intervention fleets (ambulance, fire fighters, police) as well as with commercial vehicles and industrial machines.
KTrack equipment uses top GPS technology, with the intent to offer high security standards. This way, classical antitheft vehicle protection becomes an active system able to communicate in real time any theft attempt to both the owner and the specialised staff in the monitoring centre. In case of a real alarm, intervention teams will be immediately alerted.
The system allows route monitoring for a stolen vehicle within a minimal error margin of at most 10 metres and, upon such event, direct intervention on the vehicle by remotely commanding the engine of the stolen vehicle to turn off. The vehicle tracking and monitoring service has European coverage.
