A UTI team participated in IT&C Bowling CUP, Strike IT Like You Mean IT

The first edition of IT&C Bowling Cup, STRIKE IT LIKE YOU MEAN IT!, took place over three days (May 9-11, 2006) at Play Planet, in Plaza Romania. Companies of the IT&C sector rapidly joined the Fara Cravata event.

Of the 24 teams initially enrolled, only 12 reached the Grand Finale. UTI team successfully reached the second stage of the competition. Beyond the desire to win, the boys enjoyed the fantastic atmosphere of the contest and the opportunity to prove, within the contest against their regular business competition, their qualities of bowling players as well, not only the qualities of IT&C specialists, which they prove when they’re wearing ties. And because, they didn’t win this year, the boys are determined to strike refresh next year.

On its 33rd anniversary of continuous activity, UTI changes its name and becomes TIU Group of companies.

On October 5, 2023, the TIU Group celebrates 33 years of continuous activity in the Romanian and South-Eastern European markets, estimating a record consolidated turnover.
