The traffic management system implemented in Szczecin awarded an excellence prize

The traffic management System implemented in Szczecin by UTI was awarded the prize for the best implementation of a traffic management system in Poland by the participants to the ITS Congress 2013.

UTI completed the implementation of the 1st phase of the above-mentioned project in December 2012. The system is a complex one, consisting of the following subsystems: CCTV, movement detection, passenger information, communications, and mobile information.

The project also included modifications to the existing traffic lights at certain crossroads to be covered by the new system. All the subsystems are connected within a Traffic Management Control Center.

On its 33rd anniversary of continuous activity, UTI changes its name and becomes TIU Group of companies.
