UTI will provide informatics solutions for the National Agricultural Register

The National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration has awarded, following an open bidding procedure, a contract to modernize the collection, evaluation, analysis and reporting of the data in the National Agricultural Register, to a venture made up of UTI Grup, Bion Advanced Suport Team and  EguildE.

The project aims to develop and implement a cutting edge solution that allows easy access of the public to information, institutional transparency and optimization of the performance of the central public administration in the agricultural field.

The system addresses a large range of actors: the people of Romania, the local public administration, the central public administration, namely The National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration,  the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, The National Agency for Payments and Interventions in Agriculture, the National Institute of Statistics, The National Agency for Zootechnics.

UTI will provide consulting services to prepare and manage the project, hardware and software acquisition services, overall project development and implementation, testing of the informatics system and of the web portal, personnel training for both the use of the implemented software products and the maintenance of the entire system.
When the system is implemented, the users – individuals, legal entities of authorities – will be able to view, at any time, the information within the system via the web portal, to ask for updates of the agricultural ownership statements, to access reports and to be informed regarding the legal stipulations.

The project, financed by European Funds, will be completed by the end of November 2015.
