UTI R&D Community was established in October 2005, upon the initiative of UTI top management, gathering together all the employees involved in research and development activities. The main role of the Community is to constitute a distribution platform of the information relating to: business opportunities, standardization (methodologies, working means), developing projects.
The R&D Community is the main promoter of the Participative Innovation concept within UTI.

The Business Development Community was created in January 2006, in response to the need to find synergies that should allow the development of new business opportunities. The community gathers together all UTI employees involved in sales, marketing, public relations, branding, and business intelligence activities, being open to all the employees activating in these fields, willing to join the community.
