UTI participated in Challenges and Developments in Black Sea Security

The international conference, Challenges and Developments in Black Sea Security – the Naval Dimension, took place between 26-27 April, 2006, in Varna, Bulgaria. A delegation of UTI Group, made up of representatives of the Defense Systems Division, took part in the conference organized by AFCEA Varna.

The purpose of the conference was to present the viewpoints of the representatives of the Military Marine of some riparian countries – Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey – regarding the Black Sea security concept, as well as the presentation of the NATO position in this respect.

UTI was the only company invited to participate next to the main conference sponsors: EDS Defense, Raytheon, Paradigm-EADS, Thales, multinational companies concerned by the maritime areas security systems that defended some works on the subject.

UTI stand was highly appreciated and arouse a real interest, being visited by an important part of the participants to the conference, to whom UTI capabilities and accomplishments were presented.
