Auchan has chosen UTI Retail Solutions as security partner
Auchan continues its expansion in Europe. After Russia, Poland and Hungary, the French retailer will enter the Romanian market, being about to open this autumn its first hypermarket in Bucharest. The first Auchan hypermarket on the Romanian market will be placed in Titan area.
The total investment allocated to this project is of 40 million Euros. The reasons that lead to choosing Romania are various: the still important market potential, the economic and buying power growth, as well as the possibility to expand throughout the country.
Auchan Group has chosen for the securing of its first hypermarket the solutions provided by UTI Retail Solutions, member-company of UTI Group, that has developed a technical solution meant to provide safety during the commercial transactions.
The solution UTI provides is highly qualitative and competitive, consisting of: video surveillance, intrusion detection, fire detection, access control and acusto-magnetic antitheft systems.
