UTI Grup will perform maintenance works for the traffic light system in Ploiesti

UTI will provide maintenance and repair services for the traffic lights installed in 27 of the junctions in Ploiesti in order to keep them running smoothly.

The contract includes the verification of the appropriate operation of the traffic lights and of other equipment installed in the intersections (supply and data cables pertaining to the traffic lights system), checking the correct operation of the green/red light programs, as well as the repair of any defects and re-commissioning of the system.

UTI had previously executed complete modernization works for 19 intersections in Ploiesti, delivered a traffic management software application and the hardware infrastructure necessary for its operation and provided maintenance for the modernized intersections.

This project will be added to the extensive ITS project portfolio the company has. UTI has implemented such projects in Bucharest, Brasov, Iasi, Craiova, Deva, Arad, Galati, Zalau, Kalisz and Szczecin (Poland), Sofia (Bulgaria).
