UTI will develop and implement an IT system to prevent floods

UTI Grup will contribute to the development and implementation of the WATMAN project – Integrated Water Management Information System, awarded by open public tender to the association comprised of Dimar SRL, Expert One Research, Rokura and UTI Grup.

The beneficiary of this project is the Romanian National Waters Administration, and its aim is to establish a basis of proper infrastructures nationally in order to prevent floods and reduce their destructive consequences.

In order to reach this goal, UTI will develop and implement the infrastructure works, will provide the water quality verification equipment and will ensure the equipment installation services in the stations measuring water quality, debit and depth, and that will be installed in various points in all the 11 hydrologic basins in Romania: Someș-Tisa, Crișuri, Mureș, Banat, Jiu, Olt, Argeș-Vedea, Buzău-Ialomița, Siret, Prut-Bârlad and Dobrogea-Litoral.

This project will complete the existing portfolio of solutions developed and implemented in order to computerize key systems at a national level: the online e-Procurement procurement platform, the electronic vignette, the computerized criminal record system, the portability of phone numbers, the computerized navigable canal management system, the electronic health file.
