UTI GRUP performs the technical maintenance of the National Arena in Bucharest
UTI Grupprovides the technical maintenance and administration services for the equipment and systems that ensure the operation of the largest stadium in Romania, built according to Elite standards, with a capacity of 55,000 seats and an area of 108,000 square meters: the National Arena in Bucharest.
Since the beginning of July, UTI Grup has become the supplier of technical services for exploitation, current maintenance and administration for the National Arena of Bucharest. The agreement was awarded by open tender by the Bucharest City Hall, the owner of the building, for a period of four years and an estimated worth of Ron 34 million. According to this framework, for subsequent agreements will be signed, one for each of the four years of collaboration.
As per the agreement, UTI will provide exploitation services for the systems, appliances and equipment that ensure the operation of the facility, currently as well as during events, current maintenance services, preventive maintenance services as well as administrative technical services afferent to the exploitation of the arena: unit management and technical system inventory.
The agreement also provides for the acquisition, installation and maintenance of efficient appliances for increasing the quality of the turf and the maintenance of the playing field in optimal parameters: lawn ventilation, fertilization and draining appliance, artificial sunning appliance (by artificial, UV-radiation illumination, for stimulating photosynthesis).
By externalizing technical maintenance services we obtain a series of benefits, both for the owner and administrator of the building, the Bucharest City Hall, as well as for its users, such as the optimization of consumption and the increase in the duration of useful life of the equipment, the increase of energy efficiency and the reduction of maintenance costs, the increase of exploitation security and comfort for users, permanent optimal operation of the equipment.
Also, by managing a single supplier of specialized services, adapted to the needs of this particular objective, the building administrator will be able to efficiently follow and control indirect costs afferent to the exploitation of the largest stadium in Romania, built according to Elite standards.
The company performed the installation of the technical appliances and systems within the facility as technical contractor during 2009 – 2011 and ensured, from the launching of the arena and up to now, permanent technical assistance, assigning a dedicated team.
