UTI eliminated cash register theft in 20 Auchan stores, by installing an innovating system

UTI installed an innovating, computerized cash register video monitoring and interfacing system in 20 Auchan hypermarkets. They are the former Real stores, taken over by the French retailer.

The role of the solution developed by UTI especially for Auchan is to eliminate cash register theft.

On the retail market of year 2014, this type of system is essential in order to control and reduce the losses suffered by players in the field, immediate benefits including: reducing human error at the cash register, generating a transaction history associated with video for at least 30 days, programming for sending alerts if the transactions carried out infringe pre-established rules.

Also, it is important to state that the system does not influence the cash register due to optic insulation.

On its 33rd anniversary of continuous activity, UTI changes its name and becomes TIU Group of companies.
