UTI Retail Solutions secured important stores throughout the country

This year’s month of October was marked by the UTI Retail Solutions Company’s remarkable accomplishments.

This month, there took place the opening of the CORA Lujerului hypermarket, where the Retail team installed the most complex and up-to-date video surveillance system on the Romanian retail market. The system is made up of 108 video cameras, out of which 7 are rail-type cameras, 20 are mobile ones, and 81 are fix cameras. The cabling was realized by using a new concept, with equipments manufactured by the Americana NVT company, which led to a high accuracy of the video images. The recordings are made on UTI Vision DVRs, enabling on-line monitoring of the activities taking place at cash-registers.

Metro Cash&Carry opened its second store in Timisoara – where UTI Retail Solutions installed the anti-theft, surveillance, and access control system.

The HIPROMA Company, as well, opened in Ploiesti a Carrefour hypermarket, equipped with a modern video surveillance system, comprising both 4 rail-type cameras and Intellex digital recorders, manufactured by the American Dynamics Company.

On October 22nd, 2005, there took place the opening of Iulius Mall Timisoara – the largest mall in Western Romania. Here, UTI Retail Solutions installed merchandise stock protection systems in 25 different stores: the Univers’all Supermarket, the Media Galaxy Complex, Adidas, Stefanel, Steilman, Mango, Otter, Sensi Blu, Mini Blu, Flo&Jo, Sachs, Quick Silver, Polo Garage, Casa Teo, Ravioli, Lee Cooper, Street, Mon Parfum, Ultra Pro Computers, Flamingo Computers.

Still on October 22nd, there took place the opening of City Mall – Bucharest, where UTI Retail Solutions installed merchandise stock protection systems in 14 different stores: Altex, Mavi Jeans, Katex, Camel Activ, Ultra Pro Computers, IGI Farm, Secuiana, Time Out, among others.
