UTI will rehabiltate a new water treatment plant in Filiasi

UTI Grup in association with Danex Consulting will complete the rehabilitation and modernization of the water treatment plant serving Filiaşi in Dolj County.

The contract was awarded after winning the tender announced by Olt Water Company on 18.06.2012 and is worth 15.6 million lei. The works will be performed within 22 months and will consist of the demolition of the existing station and the construction of new modern operational buildings, modernization of the technological equipment and expansion of the existing sewerage network.

Within the project, the UTI Group – Danex Consulting Association is responsible with the complete project management of the works that include design, implementation, commissioning and testing of the technical installations and rehabilitation of the operational buildings, electrical engineering and SCADA automation.

The new treatment plant in Filiaşi will serve a population of 14,000 inhabitants and will contribute significantly to the improvement of the quality of life of its citizens.

Also in Oltenia UTI completed a similar project in 2010-2011 when it rehabilitated the water treatment plants in Scornicesti, Potcoava, Draganesti Olt and Piatra Olt, a project worth 9.3 million lei. This year the company will complete the rehabilitation of the treatment plant in Cluj-Napoca, a project started in 2010, whose value amounts to approximately 148 million lei.
