UTI provided intersection service, modernization, and rehabilitation services for the traffic light controlled intersections in Brasov.

15 intersections have been refurbished, 4 new intersections have been designed and commissioned, 7 traffic light controlled pedestrian crossings have been established.
Moreover, as an extension to the contract, UTI provided a video surveillance system for 4 important intersections. The images are transmitted wireless to a control center within the City Hall and the traffic is monitored 24h/24h, any traffic disturbance being spotted and remedied timely.
We have also installed road access systems (retractable pillars, barriers, parking fare collection equipment) in the central historical area of Brasov.
